General chemistry I

Often a gateway course for nursing, pre-med, engineering, and biology majors. The math-heavy first units — unit conversions, stoichiometry, limiting reagents — trip up students early and the gap compounds through the semester.

CHM152

General chemistry II

Equilibrium, thermodynamics, electrochemistry. Students who struggled in CHM151 often find CHM152 even harder because the conceptual foundation from the first semester is shaky. Early intervention helps significantly.

Organic chemistry

Organic chemistry is a different kind of hard. It is not about memorizing reactions — it is about recognizing patterns and reasoning through mechanisms. Adrianne teaches organic chemistry and knows exactly which patterns students miss.

CHM130 — Fundamental Chemistry

Introductory college chemistry. Atomic structure, bonding, reactions, stoichiometry. Often a prerequisite for CHM151.

CHM151 — General Chemistry I

First-semester general chemistry. Measurement, matter, reactions, thermochemistry, quantum model, periodic trends, bonding.

CHM152 — General Chemistry II

Second-semester general chemistry. Kinetics, equilibrium, acids and bases, electrochemistry, entropy and free energy.

CHM235 — Organic Chemistry I

Structure, stereochemistry, reactions of alkanes, alkenes, alkynes, and aromatic compounds. Reaction mechanisms and patterns.

CHM236 — Organic Chemistry II

Alcohols, carbonyls, carboxylic acids, amines, and spectroscopy. Multi-step synthesis and mechanism reasoning.

Yes. The course names differ but first-semester general chemistry is first-semester general chemistry. Send the syllabus and we will go from there. Adrianne teaches the subject, not just one school's version of it.
It is rarely too late to start, but the earlier the better. If a spot in the current cohort is open, we start where you are and focus on what's most urgent first — usually whatever exam is coming next.
Office hours are shared and time-limited. Your question competes with everyone else's question. Coaching is one hour, one student, prepared specifically for where that student is that week. It is a fundamentally different kind of help.
Coaching helps you understand how to approach problems and lab analysis — not complete work on your behalf. The line is teaching you to do it yourself, not doing it for you. Academic integrity is not negotiable.
